Set up IPTV on Android phones, tablets and TV boxes

Android is the easiest platform to set up, because the players are in the Play Store and most of them accept your login directly instead of asking you to handle playlist files.

Your login details are on your subscription page in your account, under Dashboard → Subscriptions. Open the subscription you want to set up and use the copy buttons next to each field rather than retyping them — a single wrong character in a password or URL looks exactly like a service fault.

Signing in with Xtream Codes (recommended)

Xtream Codes login is worth preferring where the app offers it: the app fetches the channel list and the programme guide itself, so you get a proper guide instead of a flat list of channel names, and nothing breaks if your playlist URL changes.

1. Install a player that supports the Xtream Codes API from the Play Store.
2. Open it and choose to add a user or playlist, then pick the Xtream Codes API option.
3. Enter your username and password from your subscription page. If the app also asks for a server address and your subscription page does not show one, contact support and they will send it to you.
4. Save and wait for the channel list to load — the first load takes longer than later ones.

Using an M3U playlist instead

1. Open your player and choose to add a playlist from a URL.
2. Paste your M3U playlist URL.
3. Give it any name you like and save.

On a TV box or Shield

The steps are identical, but pick a player built for a remote control rather than a touchscreen — phone-first apps are usable but awkward when every action is a directional pad press.

If channels do not load

If you are using an M3U playlist, check the URL first — it has to match your subscription page exactly, including `http` or `https` and the port number if one is shown. If you are using Xtream Codes, double check your username and password for typos, and if the app is also asking for a server address you were never shown, that is something support can give you rather than something to guess at. A value that is almost right fails in the same way as a completely wrong one.
